Merry Christmas Orlando

Merry Christmas Orlando. I know it’s politically correct to say “Happy Holidays”, but I never got angry if anyone ever wished me a Happy Hanukkah, and I figure most folks just appreciate the sentiment. We’re much nicer to each other, except in shopping malls, around this time of year.

One of the things I like to do is head out to Disney to photograph some of the decorations and I thought I’d share a few of them here, just in case you didn’t get to see them on your own.

It’s kind of hard to resist the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights for some holiday photography.

Some of the Disney World resorts put up enormous Christmas trees like this one in the Animal Kingdom Lodge.

…or this one in the Wilderness Lodge. They’re a bit of a challenge to shoot with all those people moving around, but I really love the way Disney makes these trees the centerpiece of those enormous lobbies.

Merry Christmas Orlando

One of the things I like about this time of year is that we find more we can agree about than reasons to disagree. It’s kind of nice to see that we have things in common, we help some folks who need it, and we smile a bit more. Whatever you’re celebrating at the end of the year, I hope you have some nice time with friends, family, or your favorite furry animal.
